Biography
Plague was formed in late 1995 by members Thomas (drums)
and Evans (guitar), who quickly began writing their own original sounding
material. Shortly after four songs were complete Plague were joined by vocalist
(Damo), bass player and second guitarist (McCormack), they were to continue
writing enough material until they felt ready to record their first full length
album.
Plague entered the studio in 1997 recording their self financed, self titled,
full length debut CD. This was pressed and distributed to promote the band
and their unique style and approach to songwriting. Plagues CD was well received
and quickly begun attracting a strong following around the Perth live music
scene.
In1999 Plague experienced line up difficulties and soon replaced bass player
with current member (Johnstone). Time was taken out to write new material

“Higher Moral Ground” this 10 song assault was completed mid 2004.

recorded for the title track of the CD, this was also included as a bonus
on the finished CD; Higher Moral Ground was released in February 2005 through
Rabid Music.
